We were looking at boats in January, February and March of 2020 and then we gave up! It was too crazy, COVID is too big of a deal. I said, God—if you want us to have a boat, then you’re going to have to throw one in our lap. So what happened was, in August, we decided to take a boat ride. We said we’re tired of COVID, we’re going to take a boat ride up the Mississippi river in our house-boat. We took off and 5 days turned into 26 days. We were in Wisconsin and a friend of mine called me and said “hey, are you still looking for a boat for the Loop? This guy has a boat that’s just like the one you were going to buy last December!” I called him and pretty much made the deal over the phone! My brother went to look at it and he sent me pictures and I was like—ok, thanks God! I guess I learned to trust God.
