Hindsight is 2020
D and S, Holley, Erie canal, NY
They both learned that they were very patient as parents as they had a baby during COVID. He learned that he had to respect people’s boundaries as he is very extroverted and his wife is very introverted and another friend of theirs is also introverted. She learned that even though she is a little OCD and overly cautious about germs etc, that she shouldn’t pass on her insecurities on to her child and that her daughter needed to play in the dirt and build up resistance. She also realized that people were reacting to the information that they were being given and that that information differed depending on where you lived and where you looked for information and that one shouldn’t judge people for reacting in certain ways as they were simply reacting to the specific information that they were receiving. Their baby was born during the pandemic and they were astonished to notice that even with people wearing masks, that their daughter was able to tell when people were smiling! And responded with a smile too!
